Thanks to the hard work of Mona and too few others the NYC Free
Events Calendar is back. Look for it where you usually would
(Bluestockings, ABC No Rio, Time’s Up!, etc.) Help us out with
distribution and on future issues with art, research, grants, etc.

Thanks to the crackheads and the cops Mona & I no longer have laptops, but that hasn’t stopped us.

Bombs
and Shields is full of inspiring news - Read Bombs and Shields Stories of struggle and resistance
from around the world, meant to inspire and incite strong hearts.

Mona
& I have also been distro-ing zines along with the odd CD and now
t-shirts. If you need zines, pamphlets, etc. A New World In Our Hearts
(inourhearts[at]gmail.com) has them.

We have an amazing new Bed-Sty
squat that rivals Casa Del Sol & The Kung Fu Castle (KFC) in size
and potential. We will be winterizing and announcing a work day soon.
Let us know if you want to be there.

To keep up the fight we are looking for some mutual aid. If you can help with any of the following let us know.

We
are trying to raise $500 to buy a new laptop. Once we get that we will
probably need something to boost the wireless signal that comes &
goes in our house.

If there is a web savvy person who could help make bombsandshields.org and/or inourhearts.org happen, that would be great.

I
need a reliable light weight and compact DJ mixer (two have been stolen
in the past year while in the care of others) and two CD discmen that
don’t skip or beep in between songs, or DJ turntables
(yeah right.) This is all so I can continue DJing parties, which I
enjoy doing and have yet to be paid for. In the meantime if dance I
will DJ.

Here are some of the household needs we have:

     *a circular saw
     *paint, brushes, rollers, scrapers
     *respirators with special lead (HEPA) filters
     *screws, nails, bolts, etc.

extension cords
police locks
